The Mitchen is a new weekly food podcast recorded at The Projects in Sydney. Hosted by food writer/DJ Andrew Levins and chef Mitch Orr (ACME), each week they invite their mates from the food world over to discuss and make jokes about any recent big announcements in food and dining.

We're back with another BBQ episode! The last one was about Alabama BBQ, this time we go whole hog with Rodney Scott from Scott's BBQ in South Carolina and Morgan McGlone (Belle's Hot Chicken, Harpoon Harry). Rodney came to Sydney to smoke a whole pig or two with Morgy and found a moment to chat with us about all things slow and low.

We recorded a live episode in front of an audience at the MCA Artbar at the end of April, with special guests Pat Nourse (Gourmet Traveller), Lee Tran Lam (The Unbearable Lightness of Being Hungry, Good Food), Dan Hong (Mr Wong, Ms G's) and Giovanni Paradiso (10 William St, Fratelli Paradiso). Over the course of a pretty manic hour we have a carbonara battle, play a round of celebrity heads, ask each other a few hard hitting questions and get heckled by the audience for swearing too much.
